Healthy Hair

Kim Blair

There are many problems we face that can cause hair loss; stress and severe illness of course, but other culprits could be certain antibiotics and blood thinners.

I have also read that unhealthy hair can be caused from a poorly functioning liver which can deplete your body of your B vitamins.

Other culprits can cause a Vitamin B deficiency; these include some types of insecticides, sleeping pills, sulfa drugs, and synthetic estrogens.

Black eyed peas, pinto beans, black beans, lima beans, lentils, barley, corn, millet, bran and black strap molasses contain all of the B vitamins.
