CHOLESTEROL

With the increase in heart attacks and high blood pressure, cholesterol has became a big concern today.

Cholesterol is a substance needed for certain nerves and hormones to function properly.

On the other hand, too much cholesterol can leave deposits, which will interfere with your blood flow and can cause gallstones.

These natural foods have been shown in studies to lower cholesterol in certain cases.

YOGURT 3 cups a day may lower 5-10% a week!
KELP almost tasteless when sprinkled on food
OAT BRAN daily(cereal or bread) may lower 19%
PINTO or NAVY BEANS daily may lower 19%
LECITHIN(from soybean) 1oz day may lower 17%
RAW CARROTS 3 a day may lower 11%
GARLIC 5 cloves daily has lowered serum by 10%
APPLES 2-3 a day may lower serum 10% a month
BARLEY several times a week in cereal or bread
PEPPERS (chili & jalapeno)
SPINACH
SOYBEANS, Tofu
SWEET POTATOES 4-5 times a week
ONIONS
HIGH FIBER FOODS

VITAMIN C 1000 mg day

Ask your doctor if you can have the items on this list before taking them. For instance garlic is a natural blood thinner.
1000 mg of C per day may be too much for you.
Vitamin C is not dangerous, but if you take too much, you will get diarrhea.
Your perfect dosage of Vitamin C is right *before* you experience any stomach problems.

Green tea
Vitamin E
Omega 3 fax oil
Beta-carotene
Eat low fat
Eat high fiber
Reduce sugar
Reduce animal fats
Reduce red meat
Reduce salt (use Real Salt)
Reduce refined foods
Remove nicotine

Exercise; walk daily.
